Former police officer and acting councilor Erasmo Morais (PL) was murdered with rifle shots this Tuesday morning (7), in Crato, in the Cariri Region. No one was arrested.

According to the Military Police, the crime occurred around 11 am in Bairro Mirandão, close to the councilor's residence. Witnesses told police that two men in a white pickup truck fired the shots.
