This unfortunate event occurred on Friday night, on the platform of a pool hall on 22nd Street and 16th Avenue, in the Alfonso López neighborhood.

In the images you can see Jesús Andrés Carreño Sarmiento sitting outside the establishment, next to him is a thin woman, with whom he is enjoying a few beers, and in front of him, you can see another man in a green shirt. At 9:06 and 50 seconds at night, two men on a Suzuki GN motorcycle, who were dressed in black and had helmets of the same color, passed by Carreño Sarmiento, without arousing suspicion in him or his companions. .

The grill man stares at him, as if trying to fully identify him, confirming that it was Jesús Carreño, the motorcycle stops meters in front of the billiards and he calmly gets off, and without removing his helmet enters the establishment. Five seconds passed, when the hitman took out his gun, pointed it at his victim's head and fired it. At that moment, Jesús Andrés was taking a drink of beer and when he received the first shot in the head, the glass fell and he began to die, then two more bullets came that ended his life. The woman and the other man who were with the victim came out scared, while the gunman went down the steps and ran a few meters, until he got on the motorcycle and escaped with his accomplice.

After the event, panic and uncertainty took over the rest of the people who were in that establishment and they fled in terror. Minutes later, several Metropolitan Police patrols arrived, but there was nothing to do, the body was left lying on the platform.

Two days later, it was learned that one of the hypotheses that the judicial authorities are using about this homicide is that it had occurred as a result of a settling of scores for micro-trafficking.

Presumably, the 'Carlos Pecueca' gang was behind this new crime that occurred in Cúcuta. And the authorities know that for years this area has been the domain of their micro-trafficking territory.

In addition, investigators also know that Carreño was in prison and was released in November of last year.
