During the afternoon of this Wednesday, August 21 , security elements arrived at a motel located in the Atlas neighborhood , at the intersection of Boulevard Marcelino García and Río Zapotlanejo , in the municipality of Guadalajara , because the discovery of a corpse had been reported inside one of the rooms .
Upon arrival, it was confirmed that a lifeless woman was inside room 155 of the facility and apparently had signs of violence. According to workers at the site, the woman had arrived accompanied by a man , who left moments later completely alone. Therefore, the suspect is being investigated as the alleged perpetrator of the possible femicide.
Given this situation, the area remains cordoned off as investigations begin. Meanwhile, the body will be transferred to the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences to determine the cause of death.
