Márcio Dias Almeida, 53, died after being stabbed at least 30 times in Terezópolis de Goiás (34 km from the capital). Security cameras captured the moment of the crime, which took place in the early hours of Sunday (9).

The accused, who wore a mask that covered his entire face, arrives at the scene and starts stabbing the victim, who was already lying on the floor. After several stab wounds, the man is unconscious, but continues to be hit by the blows in the abdomen region. After the crime, the accused fled the scene. In the images, it is possible to see that he filmed the entire crime with a cell phone.

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was triggered and referred the victim to a health unit. Faced with gravity, Márcio was taken to the Anápolis State Hospital Dr Henrique Santillo (Heana). He, however, could not resist and died on the spot.

Military police were called and made efforts to locate the suspect. Through the images, police found the accused visibly intoxicated.

He was arrested and taken to the Civil Police Station. In testimony, the accused confessed to the crime, but did not explain why he had committed it.

He was then sent to the municipal prison, where he remains at the disposal of the Judiciary. He must answer for aggravated murder.
