A fatal accident occurred yesterday afternoon in Nizhnyaya Salda on Frunze Street. According to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, the 34-year-old driver of a Ural truck lost control and drove off the road, where he hit a 67-year-old woman who was standing at a zebra crossing. The pensioner died at the scene of the accident before the ambulance arrived. An administrative protocol was drawn up against the driver under Article 12.33 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for damaging a traffic light.
