In one of the villages of the Ordynsky district of the Novosibirsk region, a 15-year-old teenager tried to rape an eight-year-old girl. On May 5, a schoolboy took the child into a quiet alley near the garages and tried to persuade her to have sex, but the schoolgirl managed to escape. The incident was caught on a surveillance camera at a neighboring house; a resident reported the attack. The locals decided to carry out lynching and caught the teenager before the police did. An NGS correspondent went to the scene of the emergency and found out what is known about the detainee and why he could commit a crime.

“I sang lullabies to him, cried,” one said about the suspect

All his life, 15-year-old Vlad (the names of all the characters have been changed. - Ed.) lived in the village of the Ordynsky district. I grew up as an ordinary child: I rode a moped through the streets, ran with friends and constantly tried to climb the neighbor's perennial poplar tree. But with age, the guy's behavior changed. Now residents recall that the teenager seemed strange to them for a long time.

Many neighbors knew about the complex character of the young man

“He's got the wind in his head.” He was always on his own; you couldn't tell him anything, you couldn't prove anything to him. Just an uncontrollable child. They always said: it's like he's looking at you, but doesn't hear you at all,” says local resident Vera.

Another neighbor did not limit himself to harsh statements. Victor admits that he never liked Vlad:

“He's a fool, it's written all over his face.” He studies poorly and is a hooligan. “All the neighbors treat the boy badly, he's problematic,” says the man.

Vlad's grandmother works as a nurse in a children's hospital. Grandfather, the neighbors say, is a regular guest at feasts:

They all drink: they gather in a group, play cards or dominoes. After his father and mother separated, neither his mother nor his father needed him. He was sent to a boarding school. But lately whether he is studying or not, I don't know.

Vlad's parents divorced many years ago. The father lives in Novosibirsk with a new family. The guy periodically lived either with his mother or with his grandmother. Vlad's grandmother's house is located a few meters from Vera.

You see, he literally grew up before our eyes. We can't say that he was some kind of fool or that he was raised somehow wrong,” the neighbor continues.

Vlad's grandmother still noticed that something was wrong with him. She herself told her friends about this.

“We've been communicating with her for a long time.” She said she couldn't do anything with him. In the same way, she sang lullabies to him, raised him like all normal grandmothers. She cried: she said she didn't understand what was wrong with him,” Vera recalls.

Now Vlad's grandmother doesn't communicate with anyone and doesn't open the door anymore. This happened after her grandson tried to rape the child.

“We've never had this happen before,” how it all happened

On the afternoon of May 5, a video from a surveillance camera was sent to the village chat via messenger. The footage clearly shows how a young man takes a girl with a school backpack around the corner, and a few seconds later begins to harass her.

The child resists and starts screaming, after which the guy runs away from the scene in his underpants.

Everything happened in a narrow alley. On one side there is a garage, on the other there is an area enclosed by a fence. Sergei, who worked in the garage, knew nothing about the incident.

What do you mean, we've never had anything like this before. If someone saw him, they would immediately blow his head off - don't go to grandma here,” Sergei is indignant.

The teenager was not embarrassed that the crime scene was clearly visible from both sides.

The only witness to the attempted rape was the owner of the house where the surveillance camera was located. After her message with the attached video, panic began. The Siberian woman refused to communicate with the NGS journalist.

According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region, a criminal case was opened against the guy under paragraph “b” of Part 4 of Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Violent acts of a sexual nature.”

Residents quickly learned that Vlad was in the video. They didn't wait for the arrest - they immediately found the guy and decided to carry out lynching by filming what was happening on video.

I didn't want to - why did I do it? Did you know what the consequences would be? Who will you apologize to? Why are you apologizing to her? You left her traumatized for life. She will remember later. God forbid, I find out that she committed suicide, “will you go with her,” one of the villagers asks in the footage.

Gregory is considered a local hero here - he reported on the capture of Vlad and his transfer to the security forces.
