São Paulo – The 39-year-old man who had his penis cut off with a razor by his wife in Atibaia , in the interior of São Paulo , said that he forgives the attack of rage and that he will try to get a prosthesis. The crime happened last week. The 34-year-old woman was arrested preventively after surrendering.

In an interview with TV Thathi in Campinas, the man stated that his wife is very jealous and that he had been lured home last Friday (22/12), with the promise that the couple would have a night of love.

"It was all very fast. The light was off. She stroked [my penis] and then cut it. I felt my groin heat up,” she said. The man then allegedly pushed the woman away, who turned on the light. “There was a lot of blood and I asked, 'Why did you do that?'”

In the interview, the man said he tried to use the car to seek help, but the woman had hidden the vehicle key. Wrapped in a sheet and bleeding profusely, he said he walked to an emergency room in the neighborhood.

The woman, in turn, threw her husband's penis into the toilet and then flushed it. To the police, she stated that she did this so that the organ could not be reimplanted. The wife also said that she committed the crime out of jealousy, because she suspected her husband of cheating on her 15-year-old niece.
