I love the fact Ukrainians keep wasting their last troops and mercs in bakhmut meatgrinder. What matters most are the manpower and weapons, not how long it takes to take ground. Once you run out of manpower and resources you will fold and give away everything.
No wonder the spring counteroffensive is pushed into summer, simply not enough men and weapons for offensive, when they are all used up in bakhmut and avdiivka etc.
Once the army neutralized you simply take what you want without resistance.
