That dumbass shouldnt have been tugging on the dog like that, it was only doing more damage to that brown dog. I wouldve grabbed its head to prevent it from shaking or moving. It could also help the dog to relax some. Once the dog has chilled there I would have stuck both my hands in its mouth to pull it open (like how king kong killed the v rex), people will say its impossible but all you really need is a good grip and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Hitting it, pulling it, or trying to guage its eyes out will only piss the dog off more making it just want to clamp down harder. Once youve managed to get the mouth open enough do a fast turn motion so the dog is facing away from the other dog and hold a good grip on its collar with both hands. Or if you want to use a violent method then just break the dogs neck by twisting it.
