A woman of approximately 35-40 years old died in a gym in the Peralvillo neighborhood, when a device to exercise arms and chest fell on her, causing sudden obstruction of the respiratory tract.

The incident took place at the GYM Fitness Sport gym located at 83 Beethoven and Caruso Street.


Updated information ~ Employees of the establishment requested support from the police and paramedics, who arrived minutes later to provide first aid.

Uniformed officers interviewed the manager of the gym, UC, 35 years old, who detailed the facts and was presented as a witness to the public prosecutor of the Cuauhtemec 1 coordination.

Red cross paramedics diagnosed possible crushing & obstruction of respiratory tract, which led to the intervention of the forensic services.

The body of the woman was taken to the Ministerial Ampitheater
to continue with the ID process and motivate the investigation for the crime of manslaughter by other causes.
