Quasr al-Nile police station received a report from the staff of the Cairo Tower stating that an Egyptian youth committed suicide after throwing himself from the top of the tower. Immediately, a security force moved to the scene.

The Zamalek region in the Egyptian capital Cairo on Saturday evening witnessed a tragic story where an engineer student committed suicide.

According to workers at the tower, which is 187 meters high, the young man ascended to the last floor with his friend, then surprised everyone and threw himself from the top. He died on the spot, while the authorities reserved his friend and interrogated him to uncover the circumstances of the incident and find out the cause of suicide.

Al-Siddiq said that the suicide young man suffers from a severe psychological crisis, and that he went out with him to try to get him out of his condition, but he was oblivious and threw himself from the tower to put an end to his life.

In addition, the prosecution decided to autopsy the body, and demanded the security services to intensify their efforts to uncover the mystery of the incident.
