A traffic accident reported on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 19, 2025, on the highway connecting Cúcuta with the municipality of El Zulia, in the Urimaco sector, claimed the life of 22-year-old Heidy Ramírez.



Ramírez was known locally for her work as a social media content creator, as can be seen on her TikTok account (@heidyrr1). For this reason, dozens of messages of condolence were posted on social media after the identity of the victim of the traffic accident was confirmed. The accident occurred around 5:00 p.m. when the motorcycle Ramírez was riding was struck by a tractor-trailer.



According to preliminary investigations, the victim was riding a Yamaha Crypton motorcycle, a recent model she had purchased just a month and a half before the accident.



At the time of the accident, she was traveling toward El Zulia, accompanied by a relative who was riding another motorcycle a few meters ahead. According to La Opinión, authorities are considering two main hypotheses about the cause of the accident, both related to maneuvers performed on the road.

The hypotheses surrounding the accident

The first version points to possible traffic recklessness. According to this hypothesis, Ramírez and her relative attempted to overtake the tractor-trailer on the right side.



While the relative's motorcycle managed to complete the maneuver, Ramírez was not so lucky and was eventually struck by the rear tires of the heavy vehicle. The impact was fatal, and the young woman was dragged several meters before the truck driver managed to stop, given the difficulty of the vehicle's speed and weight.



The second hypothesis suggests that the accident could have been caused by the presence of a pedestrian on the road. According to this version, Ramírez attempted to avoid the pedestrian, causing her to lose control of her motorcycle and fall to the asphalt, where she was struck by the tractor-trailer. Both theories are being investigated by the relevant authorities.



Following the accident, local authorities were alerted and went to the scene to conduct the necessary investigations. Officers from the Judicial Traffic and Transportation Police were in charge of the initial investigation, aiming to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident.

For this reason, her death has left a void among her followers and family, who mourned her unexpected departure.



However, a detail emerged on the same networks and local media that adds an additional layer of drama and anguish to this story. According to Catatumbo NoticiasalDia, just over a year ago, hitmen killed his partner, identified as Jeferson José García Caballero, alias Mandíbula, in events reported by the Cúcuta newspaper on April 5, 2024.

At the time, the report by the Norte de Santander newspaper reported that the events occurred on the night of April 3, when García Caballero was shot by the hitman while he, along with his partner, was riding a motorcycle. The three shots killed the young man permanently on a street in the San Luis neighborhood of Cúcuta.
