A group of youths robbed a food stand in the municipality of Ecatepec, State of Mexico, after robbing the place a patrol car arrived and in the confrontation with police officers one of the robbers was wounded by a firearm, he died a while later, his name was Eddie Michel and he was only 16 years old.

Last July 18, Municipal police officers intercepted three delinquents who robbed diners at a stand on Adolfo López Mateos Avenue (better known as R1), corner with Circunvalación Norte, Jardines de Santa Clara neighborhood.

When they tried to flee, they shot at the police officers, who responded to the aggression and a 16 year old boy was wounded. He was guarded by police officers while an ambulance arrived and the victims tried to kick him due to their anger at the constant assaults.

The wounded youth, wearing a green sweatshirt, was the last one to try to board the motorcycle when he was hit by bullets while his companions repelled the aggression of the police, he fell wounded while his accomplices managed to flee leaving him to his fate.

The images show the young offender, already mortally wounded, being beaten by shopkeepers and neighbors, whom he had robbed of their belongings moments before.

Trying to protect him from being beaten is an officer of the state police, who is holding a firearm in his right hand. However, he cannot prevent the assailant from receiving several blows.

Next to the body of the delinquent, on the upper part, a revolver type firearm can be seen, with which he allegedly robbed the owners and customers of a food store located on R1 avenue moments before.

Those people shooting are supposedly his relatives and they are holding a funeral for him where they fired their guns in his memory.
