On Wednesday morning, two brothers were hit by a car after leaving the vicinity of the Francisco Villa National Fair, held in the capital of Durango. It was reported that the aggressor was identified and his arrest is expected.

The events occurred between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the fair, where the brothers identified as Julio and Israel Paredes Gallegos allegedly had a fight with other attendees. During these events, a vehicle ran over the young men, as seen in a video that was spread on social networks.

In the audiovisual material, three young men are seen exchanging blows, when suddenly a white vehicle approached them and ran over the brothers (one of whom was lying on the ground). Only one of them (wearing a blue shirt and a white T-shirt) remained standing.

 Although it is not seen in the video, the vehicle fled, while the brothers were injured in the parking lot of the Fair. In light of these events, the head of the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) of Durango, Óscar Galván Villarreal, reported that the authorities have already identified the alleged aggressor. Although his name was not released, it is expected that he will be arrested on July 24.
