The General Command of the Armed Forces informs that today in Gdynia-Kosakowo during a training flight, the M-346 Bielik aircraft hit the airport runway . The wreckage of the aircraft burst into flames. A rescue operation is currently underway. The aircraft was training for tomorrow's shows on the occasion of the Naval Aviation Brigade Day .
The plane crash was visible from a distance. Footage has appeared on the internet showing the moment the plane crashed at the Gdynia-Kosakowo airport . The M-346 Bielik was flying from the 41st Aviation Training Base in Dęblin to Saturday's air show in Gdynia.
