Great indignation and commotion has generated a traffic accident that left an older adult dead in the Rancho Bajo sector, in the city of Quitó, Ecuador. The incident is going around the world due to the way in which the driver who was involved reacted and which was recorded on video.

As seen in the audiovisual material, which was captured by a security camera in the sector, an 89-year-old adult was shaking a mat on the road, a very normal act that, apparently, he performed regularly.

Seconds later, a vehicle appears on the scene on the same road, but it is reversing and without any precautions. Unfortunately, it ended up hitting the adult violently, he fell and lay seriously on the ground.

What has generated the most outrage is that seconds later, as seen in the images, the driver of the vehicle gets out and, without any problem, grabs the victim, loads him and leaves him on a platform. The elderly man does not move.
