Woman's body found in Mt St George, Tobago
Tobago police are investigating the discovery of a woman’s body, which was found down a precipice along Saw Mill Trace in Mt St George.
Police say around 10:56 am today, a 29-year-old man and his girlfriend were driving in the area, when he noticed the body of a female hanging over a precipice.
Police officers were alerted to the discovery.
Officers on the scene found the woman’s body clad in a green top, with the undergarments pulled down slightly on the woman’s leg. Her feet were bare. She was lying on her side, and appeared to have blood on her face. Blood also was seen on the roadway.
Police have not yet identified the body or given a description or approximate age of the woman.
