BK 6530 VBI motorbike rider dies on the Teluk Dalam Asahan railway

The body of a man was found in a pathetic condition at a railroad crossing in Teluk Dalam Village, Asahan Regency, Tuesday (30/4/24) afternoon. The victim was known to be a Honda Vario motorbike rider, BK 6530 VBI.

When found, the man's body was found with his head severed. He is suspected of deliberately ending his life by welcoming death at a train crossing.

Budiman, a local resident, said that the victim was known to have deliberately slept at the railroad crossing. Some said the victim was named Taufik.

“He deliberately slept on the rails. "It was clear that his intention (to commit suicide) was clear," said Budiman.

It is known that the location of the incident was in an area that is not a public crossing. On either side of the railway line are gardens. The train that crushed the victim came from Rantauprapat towards Kisaran.

This case is said to have been handled by the police. However, until this news was received by the editorial team, there had been no official statement from the police regarding this incident. (Prime/hm22)
