On the afternoon of Tuesday, March 12, a young man identified as Diucer Barraza was shot to death on Calle 53 and Carrera 3A in the Las Américas neighborhood , in the metropolitan town of Barranquilla, Atlántico. The victim was left lying on the street with a gunshot wound to the head.
According to witnesses, Barraza arrived at the scene in a vehicle and was immediately attacked by gunfire, losing his life instantly. The Sijín of the Barranquilla Metropolitan Police carried out the removal of the body, which was transferred to the National Institute of Legal Medicine.
It has been reported that the Police managed to capture two suspects related to this crime. Details about the motives behind the murder and the relationship of the detainees to the incident are still under investigation.
