A young woman committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor due to the fear of inter exams. The incident took place in Bachupally police station. According to the police, M. Mahalakshmi and Bapiraju are a couple from East Godavari district. They have two daughters. Younger daughter Krishnaveni (19) completed her inter in AP less than two years ago. However, as there was one subject left in the inter.. since then she has been writing supplementary exams. In this order, Mahalakshmi's family came to the city less than two years ago and are staying in the local Vasantnagar.

Meanwhile, Krishnaveni's parents have advised her to study hard as she has exams on 15th of this month. Krishnaveni, who was worried by the fear of exams on one side and her parents' advice on the other, committed suicide by jumping down from the fifth floor of the apartment where she was staying at 11 o'clock on Tuesday night. On the complaint of the deceased's mother, Mahalakshmi, the police registered a case and started an investigation.
