A shooting confrontation left 17 dead, reported residents of the Sierra of the Municipality of San Miguel Totolapan , the events occurred this Monday afternoon. The confrontation was between the criminal groups of the Familia Michoacana and Los Tlacos.

According to the version of the people of the area, the events occurred in the community of Piedra Concha, in the upper part of the Sierra. Of the dead, 16 belonged to the Michoacana Family and 1 was from the Los Tlacos Group.

San Miguel Totolapan belongs to Tierra Caliente , but has territory with communities in the upper part of the Sierra.

This fact was confirmed by a video uploaded to the internet where you can see the lying bodies of the hitmen who died.

The authorities have not issued any information about this confrontation.
