On the evening of February 15, on Highway 1 (section of My Duc Tay commune, Cai Be district, Tien Giang province) there was a traffic accident that killed one person .

According to initial information, at the above time, 3 motorbikes with license plates 94D1-135.XX, 63G1-255.XX, 63G1-172.XX and a car with license plate 63C-172.XX were stopping and waiting. The red light on Highway 1 was collided by a truck with license plate number 51C-572.XX traveling in the same direction. As a result of the collision, one person died on the spot, three motorbikes were damaged, and truck 63C-172.XX was slightly damaged.

After the accident, the driver of the truck with control number 51C-572.XX drove the vehicle away from the scene.

Receiving the news, the Cai Be District Police force, in coordination with the Traffic Police force (under the Traffic Police Department of Tien Giang Provincial Police) and units related to traffic regulation, took action.

The same evening, the authorities tracked down the truck that caused the above traffic accident while traveling to Long An province.

The authorities temporarily detained and brought the truck with license plate 51C-572.XX to the scene of the accident to reconstruct the scene and investigate.

The case is currently being investigated by the authorities to clarify the cause of the traffic accident to handle it according to the law.
