The police of Phu My town, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province established a file to investigate the cause of a traffic accident that killed a young man on Highway 51 on the evening of February 1.

According to initial information, at 5:30 p.m. on February 1, at Highway 51 (passing Tan Phuoc ward, Phu My town), Mr. Dang Hung Viet (50 years old) drove a container truck with registration number 61H-076.33. towing a semi-trailer BKS 61R-005.76 running in the direction from Dong Nai to Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

When arriving at a location about 400m from the intersection of Cai Mep port, a young man suddenly rushed into the wheel of a container and was then run over by a vehicle and died.

Upon receiving the information, Phu My Town Police went to the scene to investigate and verify. Initially, the young man who died was identified as Mr. Phi Dang Hai (33 years old, from Thai Nguyen).

At the time of the accident, Mr. Hai was sitting on the right side of the sidewalk, rushed out and crashed into the front wheel of the tractor, causing the victim to die on the spot. According to the scene recorded, Mr. Hai was lying under the wheel. The place where the accident occurred is a lane reserved for cars. The camera in the nearby area recorded the scene of Mr. Hai walking from the sidewalk and suddenly rushing into the container wheel.

The case is being investigated and clarified by Phu My Town Police in coordination with the authorities.
