They continue killing under the Eustorgio Colmenares bridge

A new crime was recorded under the Eustorgio Colmenares cable-stayed bridge, in the city of Cúcuta. A homeless resident was murdered with multiple stab wounds. The person responsible is being sought by the authorities.

The roar of bullets was once again present along the Bogotá Canal, especially under the Eustorgio Colmenares cable-stayed bridge, in the Latin neighborhood, where on Tuesday afternoon, the body of a street dweller was found.

In the last month, in that same smelly place, which collects the rain and black water from a large part of Cúcuta, which is also frequented by street dwellers, two men have been murdered and, as always, without there being any witnesses to allow that the authorities have some clue about those responsible.

The recent discovery

The members of the Interinstitutional Homicide Brigade, Brinho, are still not clear when this recent murder of the street dweller took place, who was identified as Andrés Alberto Sosa Perdomo.

According to authorities, the victim was stabbed four times in the back. “It is believed that the incident occurred as a result of settling scores for microtrafficking ,” commented a judicial source.

The discovery occurred around 4:00 in the afternoon, on Tuesday, when a drug user who was walking under the bridge observed that there was a person under a mattress and when he approached to see what had happened, he realized that He was dead, he immediately got out and ran to find a police patrol to report what had happened.

“ There is no clue as to who is responsible for this murder ,” said the judicial source.

The victim was wearing a blue shirt, dark shoes and black shorts. He also has dark skin, short dark hair, a slim build and was between 25 and 30 years old.

The Brinho units lifted the body and transferred it to the Institute of Legal Medicine, waiting for a family member to fully identify it and claim it.

Another homicide under the bridge

Darwin José Rodríguez García, 25 years old, was shot to death at that point in the center of Cúcuta , at 11:32 in the morning, on December 19 of last year.

The incident occurred after an unknown person, who was also at that location, approached the victim and began shooting him, hitting him in the abdomen, chest, neck and right leg.

Apparently , Darwin Rodríguez, upon seeing the armed stranger, tried to run, but fell in agony, while the gunman calmly left the place, under the inert gaze of other street dwellers who live there.

Minutes later, when the Metropolitan Police was alerted to what happened and several patrols arrived at that place, they helped the shot man and quickly transferred him to the Erasmo Meoz University Hospital, but the efforts were in vain, he died.
