A gruesome murder of an Islamic clergyman took place in the village of Voskresenovskoye in the Shelkovsky district of Chechnya. The murderer filmed the massacre in the first person, not even the fact that a child was standing a few meters away stopped him.

On the afternoon of January 14, the attacker came to the wicket and started a casual conversation and even asked: "How are you?". Nothing foreshadowed trouble, the men were talking and there seemed to be no reason for conflict. But at some point, the killer pulled out a knife and threw the mullah to the ground, starting to scream and cut the man.

Nearby stood a child, whom the unknown man did not touch. The frightened little boy did not even scream, but just watched the man being killed. The intruder inflicted at least 10 blows before he calmed down and decided to leave the scene.

After the murder, he fled the scene, got into his car and drove away. The video of the massacre quickly went viral on social media and became a topic of discussion. How it got on the net, whether it was posted by the killer himself or leaked in another way, is still unknown. Law enforcement agencies have also received the information.

The preliminary version of the murder was blood feud. The exact reason will be established by law enforcement agencies. The attacker decided to take revenge on the clergyman and decided to do it radically. He ran away from the victim's house with blood on his hands, the weapon of the crime probably took with him.

In the afternoon of January 14, 2024 in the village of Voskresenovskoye, a 54-year-old local resident was killed in the yard of a private house. The attacker inflicted multiple stab wounds on the man, from which the latter died at the scene of the crime, - reported in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Chechen Republic.

Now the investigators put the attacker on the wanted list, a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Murder) was instituted against him. Employees are taking measures to detain the figure, after which the issue of measure of restraint will be decided. Information is being clarified.
