A woman has been left with a gruesome leg injury after being run over in a horrifying road rage incident on the Sunshine Coast, which was captured on dashcam.
The incident involved a 42-year-old man and a 26-year-old female outside a 7/11 petrol station on Yandina Coolum Rd, at Coolum Beach, south of Noosa, the Courier Mail reports.
Graphic footage shows the female driver of a blue Subaru hatchback get out of her car before throwing an object at the white silver ute behind her.
It then shows the ute attempting to drive around the woman, but instead runs her over.
It is unclear from the footage whether the driver of the ute stopped to assist the woman.
Queensland Police Service confirmed to the Courier Mail that they attended the incident which occurred at 5.30pm on Friday (December 23. afternoon.
Paramedics also attended the job, transporting the female driver in a stable condition with leg injuries to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
