Police identified the three boys -- two brothers, aged 10 and 14, and a 12-year-old boy -- as citizens of "one of the neighboring countries" who are in Russia without proper documentation. The police checked the families of three children who extinguished the Eternal Flame in Krasnoe Selo in St. Petersburg on December 10 with snow. The regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairsreported about this on its social networks.

The police identified the children - they were two brothers, 10 and 14 years old, as well as another boy, 12 years old. The children and their parents turned out to be citizens of “one of the neighboring countries,” the police report says. According to"Fontanka" and "Baza", families of teenagers came to Russia from Uzbekistan.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg stated that the families of the children were on Russian territory in violation of migration legislation. In this regard, the police intend to petition the court to expel them from the country along with their parents.
The materials of the police check, as well as the teenagers themselves and their parents, were transferred to the investigative authorities for procedural actions, the Ministry of Internal Affairs added.
