A hitman is murdered outside a citadel on the road to Salitre, in Guayas

The man and two other subjects attacked an armored car that was parked outside the urbanization.

A hitman was murdered this Friday, November 17, outside the Mallorca Village urbanization, on the road to Salitre , in the province of Guayas . The man's body was left lying on a sidewalk in the citadel's commercial plaza. A machine gun was left next to the body .

Around 4:00 a.m. a shooting occurred outside the residential complex. Three criminals, including the deceased, shot at an armored vehicle that was parked outside the citadel. They also fired shots from that car. In the middle of the exchange of bullets, one of the projectiles hit the subject, who was between 20 and 25 years old. A video surveillance camera captured the confrontation.

Before 07:30, the hitman's body was still lying on the sidewalk. Police carried out tests while waiting for the Forensic Medicine car to arrive .

According to preliminary information, the attacked car had been parked since 02:00. Around 20 bullet remains were found at the crime scene.

The residents of the citadel and workers from surrounding businesses were surprised by this crime.
