Looks more like they didnt have any seatbelts on, and crashed into something. The front of the car doesnt look like this was hit/destroyed by an explosion, and why would someone dive through the front window, If thats supposed to be where the explosion took place? The three other sides of the car are fully intact as well.
If anything then this is the result of the confusion the explosion created, because they clearly had an accident, but this is not the result of a direct hit or anything.
