Lebanese expatriate Wissam Idriss was shot dead on the porch of his home in Paraguay on Friday.
According to information reported by al-Arabiya TV, two men on a yellow motorcycle parked in front of his house in Paraguay at 4:30 pm on Friday. One of them rang the doorbell and when Idriss, 31, approached the barrier, the man shot him four times in the chest before fleeing with his accomplice.
A video of the crime, filmed by surveillance cameras, was shared on social networks.
According to Paraguayan online news sites, quoting a police officer who visited the scene of the crime, Idriss is an electronic cigarette wholesaler, and his family had moved into the house six months ago.
He had left his previous home after an assassination attempt eight months ago while he was driving with his family.
Idriss’s pregnant wife and daughter were taken to the hospital. An investigation has been launched.
