The ewife of Magdaleno MezaErika Yulissa Bandy García, and two bodyguards were riddled with bullets this Thursday afternoon in a business on 10th street and 23rd avenue in the Río de Piedras neighborhood of San Pedro Sula.

The woman was attacked with bullets inside the Extra bakery by several heavily armed men. Simultaneously, another group of hooded men surprised the two bodyguards who were near the white Prado truck with HDS 5801 license plates.

According to the witness accounts, the hit men with apparent training knelt down the business customers while pointing their rifles at the woman.

The truck in which Magdaleno Meza’s wife was traveling was armored.
