A tragedy occurred on República and Petrolera avenues, a few steps from the area called “El Arco”, a multiple collision left three people dead, two women and one man. One of the deceased was a passenger in a Noah type vehicle.

The other two fatalities were not on board any of the motorized vehicles, they were citizens who were waiting for public transport and were hit by the vehicles , losing their lives.

A security camera in the area captured the moment in which the passengers lost their lives, the images are shocking and show citizens being thrown with great force from the other lane, hitting their bodies against the pavement.

While two other people, two women, who were near the truck were also impacted by the minibus and micro. They see what happened and run terrified from the place, while a curtain of dust covers the road.

Another surveillance camera showed the moment when the public transport bus went down Montero street like a fireball , colliding with the Noah vehicle that ended up destroyed and without the roof on the central garden of Petrolera avenue.

So far, three people have been reported dead and around 20 people injured, who were evacuated to the Harry Williams Hospital, Univalle and a private clinic . Five people had serious injuries, as a result of this the death toll could rise.
