JEMPOL - A motorcyclist died after crashing into a vehicle in an accident on the road leading to Lui Selatan, here, this afternoon.

In the incident at about 5.10pm, the victim, Den Jahoring, 25, a furniture factory worker in Seremban, was confirmed dead by the paramedic team that arrived at the scene.

According to Jempol District Police Chief, Superintendent Hoo Chang Hook, the accident involved a Perodua Viva car driven by a 38-year-old man and a Yamaha Y15ZR motorcycle ridden by the victim.

"It is believed that the motorcyclist was overtaking the vehicle in front of him and then a car came from the opposite direction and did not have time to avoid and collided in front of the car in the legal lane.

"As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and died at the scene," he said in a statement today.

Chang Hook said again, the driver of the car suffered a head injury and received treatment at Jempol Hospital. – COSMO! ONLINE
