The perpetrator at the Winmart+ store in Quang Ngai was identified as the victim's ex-husband. By 2pm on the same day, the suspect was arrested by the authorities.

According to initial information, at that time, people around the Winmart + convenience store heard the screams of the sales staff. Just then, they saw a man covered in blood, pushing the door open. Immediately, people called the authorities. About 5 minutes later, the police force of Tran Phu ward was at the scene and determined the woman was dead.

Initial information said that the man who committed the crime was identified as the ex-husband of the victim. At about 13:30 on the same day, police forces arrested a suspect named Vo Phi Hau (living in Binh Dinh province) while hiding in an alley on Le Van Sy Street, Quang Ngai City.

Currently, the Criminal Police, Quang Ngai City Police and Tran Phu Ward Police are present to blockade the scene and investigate the cause of the incident.

The victim was identified as T., who lived in Nghia Ky commune (Tu Nghia district), was a salesman at Winmart+ store at 10 Nguyen Thuy (Quang Ngai city). It is known that the victim and Vo Phi Hau have been divorced for nearly a year. Recently, Hau contacted Ms. T. asked to come back. However, Ms. T. disagrees. At noon on April 4, Hau went to the shop where Ms. T worked and used a knife to stab her ex-wife to death.
