A man lost his life at dawn this Tuesday after receiving an electric charge while trying to steal wiring.
The event occurred in the El Porvenir neighborhood, when the man, apparently a street inhabitant, entered a high-voltage chamber in Emcali.
What the authorities presume is that the man was looking to steal the camera's wiring , however, he lost his life when he manipulated the high-voltage cables.
This added to the fact that the chamber was totally flooded by the rains of the last hours.
The mishap occurred on Calle 26 with Carrera 7, in the aforementioned neighborhood. The man remained for several hours inside the chamber until the rescue could be carried out.
