The victims were identified as Diego Armando Pino Ríos, 20, and his mother Luz Alvirian González Ríos, 53, who died after receiving several injuries caused by a knife. The events occurred on the night of Friday, August 6, when the man attacked her partner and the young man interceded to defend her, but he also ended up injured. “When the police arrive, they find the woman and the young man both with stab wounds and no vital signs. The man is also found alive and is transferred to a hospital, ”said Rafael Otálvaro, Itagüí's Secretary of Security. The perpetrator of this crime, still unidentified, was a 56-year-old man, he was captured and was left before the judicial authorities where he must answer for the crime of aggravated homicide.
