A man killed his sister, in a beard crime r the in Captain Aeneas , the North Mine, early on Wednesday (12/5). The homicide was motivated by the dispute over two social security benefit cards - one from the father and the other from the pension of the deceased mother joa -, in the total amount of R $ 2.3 thousand per month. The crime shocked the city, with 14,700 inhabitants.


According to information raised by the report with the source of Captain Enéas, after an argument, the suspect, identified as Carlos Alberto, 58, shot in the face of his own sister, Maria Eva, 60.


Then, with the woman lying on the floor, the man cut her neck with machete blows. The suspect fled without a trace.


On the afternoon of Wednesday (12), the Military Police carried out an operation looking for the man in the countryside of Capitão Enéas. A helicopter was activated to reinforce the searches.


According to witnesses, Carlos Alberto was responsible for receiving social security benefits. But, a while ago, the brothers realized that he was keeping his retirement money and not passing it on to his father, who lives in difficulty.


Victim Maria Eva, who was retired, lived in Ribeirão das Neves, in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte. A few months ago, he returned to Captain Enéas, his homeland, to take care of his father.


The woman filed a lawsuit and obtained a court decision and obtained a favorable decision for her brother to give her social security benefit cards.


The court gave the deadline until this Wednesday (12) for the delivery of the cards. But at dawn on the same date, the suspect went to the victim's home in Bairro Santo Antônio, in Captain Enéas, and killed his sister.


The woman's body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Montes Claros.
