In the old days...parents put a lot of effort into their children's upbringing and in turn when the parents become old and frail, each of their children send a little money from their families which adds up to help take care of their parents in their old age. Today, parents kick their sons out of the home at the age of 18 and a lot of times do not put love and care into their children. In turn...when those children manage to make it in life, they don't have a strong bond with their parents or siblings...thus the parents end up being sent to nursing homes. If these parents had very strong bonds with their children; the children would rather have the parents bouncing every 2 or 3 months in between the homes of their sons or they would move the parents into an apartment where all their children chip in towards paying the rent.
