The murder of a man in the San Antonio neighborhood in Manta was recorded by a video camera located in the area.

It is the crime of Jhonny Barcía, 27 years old, who was shot six times in various parts of his body.

The event took place this Tuesday morning, March 26, 2024, in a stretch of 307th street and 216th avenue.

The murder of the man was recorded and the video shows the exact moment in which the hitman approaches him and shoots him several times.

He does so regardless of the fact that there are several people in the vicinity, who run to safety.

The video shows Jhonny Barcía getting out of a vehicle with a wine bottle and approaching a pharmacy.

William Salazar, chief of operations of the Manta Police confirmed that the victim had gotten out to recharge his cell phone.

In the images it is observed when the assassin arrived on a black motorcycle. He was wearing clothes of the same color, never took off his helmet and shot Barcia.

This event took place at approximately 08h30 this Tuesday. The police are investigating this fact and even took the recordings of several cameras in the sector.

Jhonny Barcia, was the son of Jhonny Humberto Barcia, who was killed a few blocks from this place last February 15.
