Fire Department responds to traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a car in Pouso Alto

The Fire Department, together with SAMU and the Federal Highway Police, responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a car this afternoon, January 28, at around 12:38 p.m., on Highway BR-354, s/nº, Pessegueiro neighborhood, in the city of Pouso Alto.

On arriving at the scene of the accident, the fire department found the motorcyclist already dead, lying on the roadway, while SAMU and the Pouso Alto ambulance team were attending to two victims of the car, which had five occupants. It was up to the Fire Brigade team to assist SAMU in caring for the victims and the PRF in securing and cordoning off the site. During the service, three of the car's occupants, who were assessed and had no apparent injuries, refused to be transported to the São Lourenço Hospital emergency room.

After attending to and transporting the victims, the PRF and the Fire Brigade remained at the scene of the accident providing security until the Civil Police arrived.
