Paser - Motorcycle racer, Andi Supriady (35) in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan (Kaltim) died when he was crushed by the starting gate of the Paser Regent Cup Road Race which collapse. This incident also resulted in another person, Abdul Said (28), being rushed to hospital due to injuries.
"That's right (one victim died), another is still being treated at the hospital," said the Head of Public Relations of the East Kalimantan Regional Police, Kombes Yusuf Sutejo, to detikcom, Sunday (10/12/2023).
The incident occurred at Tapis Stadium, Tanah Grogot District on Saturday (9/12) at around 16.30 WITA when the participants started the race. The starting gate suddenly fell in a rainstorm and hit the racer.
